Question:
Do I need to have a rosary to attend the
Rosary Rally?
Answer: Not
at all! If you have a rosary please
bring it with you. If you don't
have one or forget yours we will have
extra ones you can use.
Question:
If I decide to become a Rally Captain,
will it cost me money or take a lot of
time?
Answer:
Becomming a Rosary Rally Captain will
NOT cost you any money. Of course
donations (to America Needs Fatima) are
always appreciated due to the cost of
banners and other support materials.
As far as the time commitment, very
little time is involved in preparation.
Last year I spent perhaps an hour or 2
in preparation and another couple of
hours on the day of the Public Rosary
Rally.
Question:
Why do we have to pray in public? Isn't private prayer more pleasing to God?
Answer:
The Rosary is the prayer. Praying it in public is the reparation or sacrifice that we offer to God as penance for public sin. In The Secret of the Rosary, Saint Louis de Montfort said:
"Public prayer is far more powerful than private prayer to appease the anger of God and call down His mercy; and Holy Mother Church, guided by the Holy Ghost, has always advocated public prayer in times of public tragedy and suffering."
